Approach

My approach prioritizes collaboration, non-judgment, and authenticity. I’m not a ‘blank slate’ style of therapist; I bring my true self to our work while upholding professional boundaries. Together, we co-create a path toward healing.

I strongly believe that there is no ‘one size fits all’ for counselling. My intention is to help you move at the right pace for your system and learn to trust yourself. I bring gentleness and curiosity to our work together, and encourage you to slow down and listen to your own body and emotions both during and outside of session.

My work is also grounded in paying attention to the systems in which we’re living; I actively practice from an intersectional, anti-oppressive lens and with cultural humility, acknowledging that every person is unique in their lived experiences. By paying attention to the systems and context(s) of our lives, we can move out of a place of shame and isolation toward genuine authenticity and connection with others.

I am currently offering online sessions to adults living in British Columbia. If you are curious, please reach out - I look forward to connecting with you and hearing your story.
